The goal for the Applecross Residence was to not only restore the heritage home into its former glory but to turn it into a truly luxurious, contemporary interior. Engaged initially for furniture selections, our scope turned into further interior adjustments in order to tie together a few varying styles, and selections made throughout the construction phase. The challenge with this project was pulling together a few ultra-contemporary finishes, the client’s love for art deco elements, and paying homage to the authenticity of the home's heritage. All while achieving a succinct and homey space. Whilst each room tells its own story, every space adds to the richness of the home's history and the complexity of the overall project. Completed during my employment with Kerrie Allen (Design Umbrella), we are truly proud of the final result.
